Our goal with this 5,000 square foot on-the-lake beauty was to make it feel cozy, lived in, and curated over many years — even though it’s brand new.
It’s a home where generations of family will come together, and it’s full of backdrops for making memories. True to the Wildwood formula of a light and airy palette plus layered textures and organic elements, this house feels timeless. From the zellige tile to the detailed millwork to the unlacquered brass fixtures, the goal was casual luxury, so everyone feels right at home after a busy day on the water.
The first floor became the connection to the patio and the main place for cooking and hanging out. The second floor is a retreat with four suites and a second kitchen. The kids wing includes two bunk rooms built for playing hard all day and resting up for the next. And every living space throughout the house has comfy seating and soft textiles that welcome you to take it easy.
